Thank you to FARM (Folk Alliance Region Midwest) for your help and guidance on these terms and conditions!

  • Deadline for submission is February 1, 2024

  • Notification of artists selected for official showcase will occur between February on 15th, and the public announcement will be on or around February 25th.

  • Artists submit a video of a live performance. Submitted web page links must automatically load a live performance of a single song in its entirety.  Example: http://youtu.be/vWwgrjjIMXA

  • Links can be private, however they must be available from submission through the date of public notification.

  • Links to artist Bio, Press Kit with Photos (to be used for FARMette program) and song links must open to those elements. Please adhere to the song link formats in the submission form instructions

  • Your presence means a great deal to us, and we highly value your involvement in our community! We anticipate that as an Official Showcase Artists you are present and participating in the majority, if not all, of the conference. 

  • All showcase entries must be submitted online. No-mail in or CD submissions will be accepted.

  • Two alternate artists will be chosen in the event a selected showcase artist(s) is unable to attend the conference.. 

  • Selected artists and all band members or backup musicians MUST be registered for the full conference. No exceptions. In the event a selected showcase artist or alternate is unable to attend the conference, or all members of the act are not registered by February 16, an alternate artist will be selected.

  • By submitting and being selected for a showcase, you agree that FARM and HooMac may use your photo, video and songs in advertising for the conference.

  • Selected artists may be asked to submit an MP3 of one of their songs to FARM and HooMac, which will be used to populate a Sound Cloud playlist on our website.

  • By submitting showcase entries you indicate your understanding and agreement to the terms listed above.

Remember, if you aren't selected as an official showcase artist there is are also private showcase spots available, as well as the potential to sign up for the first come, first serve spots on the day of the event for the open stage.
